Advice~If 2 friends you know are fighting.

You have to be patient and think of a way that both your friends can agree to disagree. Not everyone likes the same things. Maybe try and help your friends remember how well they can get along. Life is too short to be miserable and possibly destroying friendship you've had for ages.

Sometimes people need to except their faults in self and others before they fall out.

It can be hard to not try and take a side but they are your friends and if you go for one side for the other might not like you anymore. It can be seen as childish/immature but, its the way the world works.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
If the friends are fighting over a boy/girl they both have a crush on then that is a whole other story.
You have to make them realize that they became friends because they have similar interests and the person they like/fancy is another one of the common interests.
It is perfectly natural for many people to be in love with or be a huge fan of a celebrity. Look at how many teen girls love One Direction for example.
Until one of them asks the person out, neither of them will know if the guy/girl actually fancies them at all. Your friends need to not let the crush come between what used to be a great friendship and still can be if, they come to an understanding that getting in a relationship with another isn't going to take over their life and time will be made for hanging out together.
I know the whole idea of the crush you have being taken away from you by your friend can lead to JEALOUSY. You have three options here:
1- Neither of the friends go out with the guy.
2- wait for the guy to ask either out and in mean time you can both enjoy a common interest.
3- Be happy for the one who gets with the crush. Then go find another to be your next relationship.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

A fight/argument will finish eventually. Getting involved can sometimes make the argument go on for longer. I suggest being there for both of them and try and show them how they once were brilliant friends.
If they ask for help I think getting them to own up for their wrongs and be the bigger person before damage is done and friendship lost.
Name calling and insulting each other during a disagreement only makes the fire bigger. It's like adding another log to the fire.
I mean it will make the argument go on for longer.

In short, don't take sides, don't get involved with the facts of the argument unless you have clear evidence that one friend is wrong. Also be patient while showing your friends how they actually once got along really great. Could be by looking through old photos, reminiscing about past or going out together and trying to have a good time.

Pointy Shoe Contortionist act

The pointy shoe trend started by King Henry II ,the king of England in the mid 1100's. He wanted to hide his deformed feet.

Yes, "deformed" feet. Not everyone else has the pointy foot look. It isn't natural to squeeze your toes into a triangular hole when feet are more of a rounded shape.
In the 80s ladies wore the pointed heels to work. The trend took off causing foot problems such as bunions and crushed toes. To be wearing the shoes all day everyday would take a tole on your feet.

Above link is to a timeline of pointy/high heel shoes.

 It's interesting to think how influential a king or queen can be to fashion. Just because a powerful person  or celerity suites one type of fashion i.e. King Henry II and point shaped shoes, doesn't mean everyone else will also look the best in them.

Everyone has different shaped feet so would fit different type of shoes. I'd rather protect my feet and wear rounded toe footwear. The very uncomfortable point puts pressure on toes and to me is really unappealing.
Maybe nearly everyone wears them because magazines like Vogue feature them heavily in issues. Don't they realize how bad they are for your feet?

The left is how a foot is squeezed into a pointed shoe

The pointed stiletto is predominately feminine and boosts confidence. They make a foot appear a different shape. (More thin and longer) Duh! They do make your feet look different shape however, not natural looking and pointy. No normal average foot is triangle. You can easily get the same confidence boost with a rounder fronted heel. Or am I missing a point?

Not only heels are pointy these days, even flat shoes to boots have a point on the front. Thankfully you can buy footwear with rounded toe part too but, they are less common for heels. That's what I've discovered anyway. You might like the pointy style, but think of your foot health. At least don't go out in them everyday, give your feet a rest from the point style every few days.

I find this trend painful, unnatural, awkward looking, pressure on the toes and ridiculous. Yeah, to me they are ridiculous as the feet get really badly distorted and squeezed when a foot is a precious part of the body that you can't take for granted.
 Nearly everyone uses THEIR FEET everyday and to put them into gross positions almost like your toes are doing a contortionist act in your shoe, is to me ridiculous.

Patisserie de bain~bath fancies review.

These luxury bath cupcakes (not to be eaten) are pretty cute. They make your bath oily and relaxing with a floral scent such as violet or rose and many more on offer on the huge range.

Even though they are a little pricey they make a great gift for any female, young or old.
The bath experience is indulging when you add one of these fizzy cupcake bath bombs.

Your skin afterwards is smooth and soft. It also makes shaving easier and stops razor burn. An added plus really.

You have to remove the cupcake paper and flower first and then watch it fizz in the water making it shimmer and sparkle. The oil content reacts with the water making it have a shinny effect to the bath. Normal bath bombs make your bath water turn a different colour which is a great affect to watch develop however, the bath cupcakes sparkles the water.

I highly recommend these.
A fabulous valentines present or birthday. I got a set for Christmas and really enjoy the effect of smooth skin.

Here are places you can get them and try them out for yourself:

Or you can try making bath cupcake fizzies yourself.
I found youtube videos showing you how:

Also this one that gives you helpful hints for bathbomb making:

Have fun making bombs and also enjoy having relaxing baths.

Are shorts getting too short?

I know it is still cold and if you're anywhere like me in England then wet and windy too but, I'm hopeful for warm weather to come.

Like the photo on the left, teenagers are wearing shorts so short in some cases that they show butt cheeks. Really to me that's not "classy".

Of course you can get shorts that don't show your bum but the patterns available are harder to find. You go into a shop and want a pair that's not going to be getting men eyeing you up and perving on you. Then you find a tone of tiny ones that would give you a wedgie.

They can also be called "hot pants" but I don't think much is hot about them. I think they're another way of girls attracting guys attention but, to me it's the wrong kind of attention.
What do you think?

 Typical Hipster "short" shorts.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
That is the type of stereotype that this short short trend is based on. Typically worn by teenagers and young adults. Hipster style is one of the most popular type out there.
Here is how to be hipster http://www.wikihow.com/Be-a-Hipster
A typical outfit and my favourite one of the hipster style wearing far too short shorts. (Yet, I'd wear it with shorts that are a little longer).
Long pendant and open shirt or cardigan look.
Examples of what I think are inappropriate for young adults or teens to be wearing out in public:
   When I see girls in the tiny shorts I think this:
I'm not saying shorts and the hipster style is bad. I'm saying that a lot of people wear the shorts that hardly cover your behind. That length of them I'm saying is not appropriate to wear. I don't want you to feel bad by this but to think about if it is suitable. Yes wearing shorts is fine and can look really pretty however, to have them showing of your bum like your wearing denim underwear is not on.
Anyway bring on the hot weather so we can get our legs out wearing nice shorts that actually cover our behinds he he.
Styling Skater Skirts
Skater skirts are so much fun! And for 2014, they got even more funner! (Yes, 'funner' is a word!) Because they are so tight, any shirt looks good with them, and you know, they just scream 'girly!' Styling them in 2014 has become simple yet defined. Below are some looks.
Denim has become a trend in the skater skirt. They are simple yet can be styled in so many ways.
    Accessories do matter when styling this look, believe it or not! Shoulder bags are great! A necklace works well. Try to play around a bit when styling your skater skirt! Adding just one piece to your look can freshen things up a bit!
    You may want to consider wearing a Utilitarian shirt with your skirt; as in the gray shirt on the right.
    Darker coloured skirts or denim have really shown up around the skater skirt 'trend-line' recently. Also, for Skater Dresses, lace has become trending as well!
    The Skater Skirt Look List for 2014
    -Style solids with prints for a bold look!
    -A bun in your hair is a great look with the skater skirt.
    -Pair some simple boots with your skater skirt.
    -The right pair of sunglasses can be added.
     Remember for that fun, fresh look, a solid colour should be worn with a print, especially for 2014. Have fun styling this cute and girly look! :)
